This is the first book in the cherub series , it is one of the books I enjoyed most . The main character , James Choke is a spoilt brat whose mother works for a large company who steal and sell valuable things and sell them on the black market . So James has every console and every game invented . His Mother is also extremely obese , and James gets teased because of his mothers weight . So one day another day , same as the last a girl in his class makes fun of James and his fat mother , so James who has a short temper grabs the girl spins her round and goes to punch her in the face . But then he realizes that he has scraped her face on a nail, her face starts to bleed and James runs away from school and finds his step father on the couch with his mother getting drunk ... and you'll have to read the book to find out more .
